Good area to explore, both on road or mountain bikes.

We had a lovely stay at Flint Cottage, very homely with everything you need including a guide on the best places to visit. The high street is just a few minutes walk away with newsagents, cafes etc and an Aldi. Thetford Forest and Brandon Park are close by and they make great days out. We absolutely loved it and will visit again 🙂

Flint Cottage is in a great position for walks from the doorstep. We walked along the river and in Brandon and Thetford country parks. The cottage itself is well equipped and comfortable We enjoyed the use of tv services, Netflix, Now TV and others. The cottages position is close to the town centre and shops on a main road. Although there was no allocated parking we had no issues parking on the road outside the cottage and a big free car park was very close had we needed it.

Very well equipped kitchen. The welcome book was very informative with clear instructions for everything. Warm and cosy in cold, wet weather. Cottage was perfect for us, thank you Jeremy – we would definitely stay again and recommend Flint Cottage to others.

What a cute cottage close to Lakenheath and the Thetford forest. Loved having a kitchen, washer/dryer, great heating throughout house, wood burning fireplace, and comfortable twin beds. Place can sleep 4-6 but there’s only 1 bathroom which for me was perfect! I also had a little sink in the room With the twin beds which was perfect for teeth-brushing. Go to Joseph’s for an awesome pizza on the high street, veg or non-veg! and say “hi” to friendly Mark when buying your veggies at rhe thurs and sat am farmer’s market a 3 min walk from the cottage. And I loved being close To Brandon County Park with many guided hikes. Amazon packages can be delivered to the “the big factory store” down the street.

Found Flint Cottage to be simply grand! Very quaint and comfy! You have a very nice place here and I will highly recommend to anyone who travels this way.

Location was perfect. Although we had no children, I loved that it’s child friendly. It felt like home.

Really nice cosy cottage! Good quality furniture makes it feel like a treat to be here. Food in cupboards + freezer really kind and handy! We really enjoyed being here. Great character + cottage has a nice peaceful feel.

Charming cottage with thoughtful touches in both aesthetics and amenity. A great little escape more than suitable for a family of 4. The nearby Thetford forest is a treasure trove of activities and Brandon has all the conveniences.

Jeremy is a great host, he responded fast to my messages, check in was super easy. Good location. All the amenities are close by, 3 min walking distance. The house is warm, clean, very cozy, the beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is better equipped than I imagined.
The living room is small but nice, comfy sofas, the log fire is lovely.
Every last detail was perfect.
My initial check out was on Tuesday but I decided to stay 3 more days, I just love this little cottage. I will definitely be back here. Thank you, Jeremy!

Great location close to Brandon Country Park and Thetford Forest. Cottage is lovely and has everything you need. Love the Smart TV and sound bar plus access to Nowtv, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Flint cottage had the English charm I was hoping for. The host gave us a great tip about visiting Elveden Inn, which was nearby and very cool.. We loved it!

Lovely to stay in a home from home.

Easy access, well maintained and well equipped.
We just used it for 3 nights Bed and Breakfast, eating out in the evening twice in Brandon (both very good) and further afield other night.
Didn’t need the log fire as the weather was unseasonably hot!
Good bathroom facilities.
Remember to duck in a couple of places………… you will soon be reminded if you forget, but that is all part of the charm of the place.
If you want all high ceilings, straight walls and flat floors book somewhere boring and without character
Would use again!

Central location and well equipped cottage

Cute little cottage. Warm, well-placed and very clean. We loved the log fire and the cosy atmosphere. Jeremy was very quick to respond to communications which made check-in very easy. We hope to return!

Absolute gem of a place to stay! Perfectly located close enough to walk to the High Street but still ever such a quiet road! A few cosy nights in front of the fire was exactly what we needed after spending the days walking the forest!

Thank you for our wonderful stay at Flint Cottage. We were visiting our son who is in Air Force and stationed at RAF Mildenhall, but lives in Brandon. The cottage was a nice stroll to his house and in spite of rain and snow while we were there, we managed to walk almost everywhere. The cottage was clean, had every amenity and was just quirky enough to give us a different type of stay than the usual “hotel” that all look the same! Will definitely stay again when we return!

Flint Cottage is a delight. It is beautifully furnished, includes a log burner and has a lovely cosy feel. Every last detail has been thought of, it is exceptionally well equipped – to the standard of a good family home, rather than a holiday cottage. We were thrilled when we arrived and continued be impressed throughout our stay.

This cottage is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Suffolk countryside & Thetford Forest. We were easily able to park outside the cottage each day and the cottage was incredibly comfortable, with everything you could need. Technology was a real bonus and we were able to watch three great films on Netflix whilst we were there. We were impressed to see that a set of steak knives were provided…this is the first time we have stayed in a cottage containing these! Very cozy comfortable bed, nice bathroom and plenty of space in the utility area for boots, bags etc. We will not consider staying anywhere else when we return to the area and are already planning our next visit.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Brandon. Very quaint and cosy. Warm inside, comfy sofas, soft beds and quilts. Lots of DVDs, books and some games if weather is poor. Particularly suitable for couples and those seeking a relaxing weekend away. Shops and restaurants nearby and close to the beautiful Thetford Forest. We stayed whist visiting friends at Centreparcs-really easy commute. Our little chihuahua Suki loved it too. Really good value for money. Would stay again. Thank you.

The cottage is walking distance to centre of town and had everything we needed. The people around town were very pleasant!

We had a lovely time in Jeremy’s cottage! It was clean, had spacious, comfortable bedrooms and the kitchen had all of the amenities! Not one complaint – it was perfect for me and my family.

We really enjoyed staying in this cottage for a long weekend. It had everything we needed and Jeremy was very helpful. The village is lovely and the forest is perfect for morning runs and afternoon coffees.

A lovely cosy cottage right on the edge of Thetford Forest. Really well equipped kitchen, lovely comfy bed and sofas! We really enjoyed the walks, lots of bird watching. Brandon country park is wonderful. We also did the circular walk around Weeting and St Helen’s, both on sheets in the cottage.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed staying at the cottage previously, but think you have done a terrific job bringing it up to date. It is really lovely.

Loved the little touches – basics stocked in kitchen – such a cute / efficient space.

We stayed for 2 weeks in this nice cottage and had a great time. The cottage is well equipped with washing machine, dryer, iron etc. Also there is a very good Wifi connection with a lot of streaming services (very useful if you have teenage kids…) The fireplace in the livingroom makes the cottage very cosy, especially at rainy days or cold nights you don’t want to leave the cottage. We will be back!

Very cosy cottage – Jeremy has thought of everything to ensure your comfort in this great location. The Wi-Fi and movies were my boy’s favourites and the location is perfect for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. Even my youngest wants to come back for another stay. This is our first cottage holiday and it really sets the bar high – I can’t recommend it highly enough.

First time for us at Flint Cottage. Really enjoyed the bike rides and managed to get our son all the way to the Forest without cycling on the road.

Pop into the Brandon Heritage Centre (right behind the cottage) for small but very informative displays and lots of info on other local attractions.
